I am a design researcher, ethnographer and Public Art creator. I conduct design-led research, ethnographic research and integrates multimedia in systematic and innovative ways of advocating for and promoting community inclusion, cultural diversity, and social justice.
Currently, I work in the field of user experience design, where I’m responsible for usability testing and prototyping. Previously, I conducted design-led projects at various community libraries in both the U.S. and China. I also cooperated with some non-profit organizations to leverage their social impact through design thinking.
I earned a B.F.A. in public art and space design from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, and an MFA at Parsons School of Design, where I majored in Transdisciplinary Design and minored in Transmedia and Digital Storytelling.
I'm currently based in the Bay area in California. In my spare time, I'm an enthusiast of gardening, drawing, fiction, and stand-up comedy.
